Practice / Sustainability

To create high performance sustainable environments Arcadiam Associates use an integrated approach in all areas of design and construction. We collaborate fully with all members of the professional team and clients to develop and utilise best practice whilst providing lifetime design solutions. We specify materials which are locally sourced, durable and from sustainable sources.

We balance economic viability with environmental and social responsibility by making best use of existing infrastructures working with energy efficient plant and materials. We train our professionals to be aware of current environmental legislation, British and European standards and best practice empowering them to assist other members of the project team. By working with innovative products and tools we have identified systems that dramatically improve environmental performance.

Our design ethos is collaboration and it is by working closely with professionals and clients alike that we are able to identify financial and environmental benefits.We are open to continual innovation and developments within our sector and by using fundamental principles of sustainable design deliver responsible solutions.

With a design philosophy that reflects Arcadiam Associate’s commitment to providing high quality, space efficient, and innovative design schemes, we have the insight and expertise to meet our client needs. We can use our database of briefing, documentation and benchmarking standards to assist the client in the creation of their particular requirements. We use sustainable materials and components to create simple, spatial elegance that reflects our client’s corporate identity.

Arcadiam Associate’s objectives are to provide innovative design solutions that utilise sustainable and leading edge construction technologies. We have the requisite skills to provide new build and refurbishment for private, commercial and corporate entities. Arcadiam's structural engineering team aspires to produce first-rate engineering design concepts within excellent time execution in notable detail and at a sensible investment return.

We are constantly looking for innovation and originality in order push the boundaries of our ability to the benefit of the clients. Working alongside our architectural and design team means that we have an insight and appreciation for methodology that might other wise be alien to us.

The approach from our engineering team is the view to combine the different disciplines available at Arcadiam Associates, of Architecture and Interior Design and to add the Structural Engineering as part of the essential mechanism that make up the projects complete design result.
